We have decided to skip the June Session of the course in order to update the content of certain workshops. luckily, there are a couple of PRACE events organized by our partner

SURFsara which cover some of the topics we usually 

 

SURFsara is organizing

  •  A course on cluster computing for life sciences that will take place on the 1st and 2nd of July (free registration).
  • A course on the 22nd-23rd of May good practices for HPC in the cloud, which has general good practices for research software development and the HPC Cloud training.

High-Performance Computing made easy

 

The objective of the HPC and BigData course is to enhance the accessibility of the HPC (High-Performance Computing) facilities. The course is composed of a set of lectures covering various topics related to HPC and BigData and a number of hands-on workshops and to develop practical skills. The course is designed to instruct students and researchers who are still unfamiliar with the use of the available HPC facilities or a number of its new components.
