High Performance Computing made easy

 

The objective of the HPC and BigData course is to Enhance the accessibility of the HPC (High Performance Computing) facilities.The course is composed on a set of lectures covering various topics related to HPC and BigData and a number of hands-on workshops and to develop practical skills.The course is designed to instruct students and researchers who are still unfamiliar with the use of the available HPC facilities or a number of its new components.

 

IMPORTANT: UvA Students following BSc Informatica CANNOT earn 6 credits by following this course because of a large overlap with the mandatory course  "concurency and parallel programing" given in the context of the UvA BSc Informatica.
